Anatomy of Procrastination
Is it laziness, or is it avoidance?
Research shows that procrastination is not about laziness, but about emotion regulation. When you postpone a difficult task, you're actually avoiding the discomfort it triggers, it works in the short term, but magnifies the task in the long run. The solution is not to change the task, but to first recognize the emotion.

Action
Write down the task you procrastinate on the most. How do you feel when you think about that task, name it in one word. Now, start that task for just 2 minutes: open the computer, or better yet, a notebook, and write the first line. Just that.
